Sumerian Sea of Cortez Inverted Diamond Ring gives a classic pearl design a twist of rock n’ roll.  The sustainably farmed peacock pearl is surrounded by a sculptural circle glittering with a row of pave and a row of inverted white diamonds. The essence of modern sophistication this heirloom ring adds elegance and élan to all of your style moods. 

ortez pearls are farmed in one of the only sustainable pearl farming projects in the world. The pearls are from the rare rainbow lip oyster and range in color from peacock hues, gray and black. This is the only pearl oyster that belongs to genus Pteria that grows cultured pearls. All other marine oysters belong to genus Pinctada. 

The Sea of Cortez was created into a sustainable pearl farm and haven for the local marine species in the late 1990’s. In 2000, the first commercial pearls were farmed. This unique project has foster one of the largest areas in the region for aquatic and land flora and fauna biodiversity.
